hey, the company i'm with, www.schumacherconstructionvermont.com , has tried the raised ridge cap a few times. You know, the kind you put on before your pans go on. This is great, but structure and durability of the cap itself has proven too weak to support a roof ladder with any decent amount of weight on it. It gets all f*#ked up. Any body heard of some kind of special ridge hook that disperses weight better? Has anybody else had this problem?
