We are paid as subcontractors for a local (Denver) roofing and restoration company. They owe us in excess of 20k in commissions on jobs that have been completed and paid in full.
Can someone please help with how to go about "motivating" them to pay so that we can move on from this awful situation, hopefully without lititgation.

Please explain what you mean by "paid in full" and being still owed a commission. And find somebody that knows contract law in your state/area to go over any contracts.
"paid in full" meaning that all work is completed and the customer has paid in full for the work contracted.

Go visit the home owner and tell them the main owes you money... and youll file a lein against their property for money owed if the main doesnt pay you. We had to do this. I am in NC tho.
