Hi fellow tradies, first time poster and new member here. I am a contractor from New Zealand who regularly installs split system heat pumps on metal corrugated roofs. I was interested to learn what the standard trade practice is when you guys have a penetration of 65mm or less through a metal corrugated roof? Looking forward to your replies.馃憤

Thanks Rooferman. One more question: Do you guys have pvc pipes (vents etc) penetrating your roofs (through the Oatey type boot flashing) or do you have to have metal vent pipes coming through the roof? Regards

A mix of pipe materials, PVC in newer homes, cast iron, copper and galvanized in older homes. The boots work well with all.
