How does a lean-to roof get ventilated? The high point is right against the house and the transition are always tight tight tight (red dots in pic.) Or are all lean-to roofs doomed to be hot?

Either with box vents. or a shingle over strip vent like Intake Vent | CertainTeed or a headwall flashing with a built in vent Hi-Perf Ridge Vent Sloped Roof Meets High Wall
