Hi English,
Actualy there is a version of my chimney flashing brake in Europ. I had a 3 year Exclusive License with a company called Tapco. You will know them as Tapco International. I thought I was going to make millions. What Tapco did was an inventors worst nightmare. They Shelved It for 3 years, just to keep it off the market. After their license with me expired they took it to Europe to sell. Because I did not file for a European patent, I have no protection under the European Patent Treaty. It is an earlier version of what we have today. The opening is wider, and I think it will allow lead to inter easy enough. I wish there was a shingle market over there, I would love to compete one on one with Tapco. If you discover an open market, we may be able to set you up as a drop ship vendor or an affiliate. This just means you make the sale and we ship. You would get a commission from every sale, and never have to touch or cary any inventory.
Thanks, Have a good one,
Hi English,
Just thought I would take a minute to appologise for what I said. I was under the impression we were both talking about shingle roofing. I checked out some of your videos on another roofing forum. It seems you specalize in Tile & Slate roofing. I was comparing apples to oranges. I can see how lead would work better over the rough contoure of tile or slate. It is a lot more plyable. I think you put as much heart into your work as I do into mine.
Have a good one.

Hope you don't mind my asking where in England you're from. When Im not running around on roofs I coach a college rugby team. The team toured England in 2007. I had wanted to make contact with some roofer's while in merry old England, but our schedule did not allow.
