  So, how is it that OSHA signed off on "free climbing"? Seems to run counter to their "Just because it's inconvenient or difficult doesn't mean you are not required do it" mantra.

  What color are the shingles? Take a look at Certainteed's Flintlastic colors. Ideal roof system for what you are describing. The shingle nails at that pitch will rust out, ...
