Default Pine tree flashing detail

I saw this one last week, the pine tree is growing along side a 1967 singlewide here in S.W. Florida. It appears that the covered parking area was intentionally built around the tree.

Damn Tree Huggers, HAHA, I've seen some strange accomadations for trees over the years, we had a old beer house built around a tree here years ago. It was kinda cool.

How do you falsh something like this on a living tree that will grow, move and sway?

Personally i think they shoul dhave adhered some epdm to the metal roof and wrapped that around the tree and fastened somehow. Actually scratch that, they should have cut it down.

I can image your phone call "Umm yes we have a leak in our porch around where a tree goes through the roof. Can you come out and fix it?"
