Spring Time Marketing...When In The Winter Do You Start?
First off, I personally find Spring Time the most difficult time of the year to get jobs sold, because every other contractor has been off all winter long and are giving the farm away.
The way to counter act that, is to acquire leads that are exclusive to your company and beat them to the punch with all of their low-balling tactics. What do you do to start off your season running and when do you start that campaign? Ed

Re: Spring Time Marketing...When In The Winter Do You Start?
I figure we have a 2 month sales cycle so if I want sales in March I have to start in January. However it also depends what type of marketing youa re doing. Direct mail may require up to 3 mailings so I'd have to start in December, then January, February etc...
Personally I try to schedule jobs for the spring in December. We try not to shingle in the winter time below freezing so it's a great way to build a back log. |
