Re: High end products
I’ve heard that some of the synthetic slate products will warp or change shape over time.
Has anyone had any bad experiences with synthetic slate? It seems like thy scratch easy but I don’t know if that would be visible from the ground. My supplier recommends Lamarite over DiVinci, it’s less expensive and they stock it. I’d like to see the new one CertainTeed is coming out with. I’m offering their asphalt products, so it would make sense to stick with the same brand name. |

Re: High end products
One of my suppliers had a trade show recently and I checked out the new synthetic slate by CertainTeed, I thought it looked really good. I like it better than DaVinci.
It might even be less expensive but I don’t now what the prices are yet. |

Re: High end products
GAF Camelot. For $350 per square it is hard to make look right. We did big 7/12 2 story home and walking up on the home you can see how the "eyes" don't line up and a sorta arch pattern. They are hard to carry- 18"x 40" bundles very awkward. I do suppose they are the most similar o shake roof I have seen.
