Getting your name in the insurance checks.
I'm sure some of you share my pain in this, finish a job and homeowner keeps depreciation or makes you chase them for it. My solution has been that with every invoice we now send our W9 and copy of contract with a cover letter stating per contract our name must be on the check.
This seems to work, if anyone has better idea in this, I'm interested! |

The same thing has happened to us.,the job was complete and the final bill was turned in and when I drove by due to another job in the area and wouldn't you know it I seen a fat broke guy on a new John Deere zero turn so I was lucky and soon got paid but that is a nice bit of info...,Thank you
