Creating Your Brand Identification
What do all of you do to get your company name on the tips of the consumers tongues so that you are the "Go To" contractor in your market area?

Re: Creating Your Brand Identification
Step one get a logo. Step two plaster that logo on everything. I was suprised how many trucks you had, Ed, with no names on them. Even cheapo magnets will do the trick, like I use.
I also send out coupons to my customers. For example this winter we are going to be trying out blown in insulation as a way to keep busy. I am sending coupons for that service to my existing customers first off to see how it goes. I think they'll be real easy sells. I've been saying for years I was going to start an e- newsletter and I haven't done it yet. I have thousands of email addresses from people who have requested estimates. Infact I invited half of them to be my myspace friend and I was goign to use myspace as a news letter manager but only a hand full joined up. I will be inviting the rest probably in winter. Plus invite those again who didn't sign up on the first invite ![]() I need to do another mailing to our property manager list. It's about time, I haven't done it all year. That should drum up some repair sales, although we don't really need more repairs right now, but the time to advertise is when you don't need to. |
