Re: Company Websites?

OK, it's a clicking noise that Internet Explorer uses when a new page is loaded. Since the ads are show in "IFrames" internet explorer sees each page and ad slot as a new page so it clicks more than once. It's still strange though since it's not doing it on all sites that run adsense.

One fix is to use Firefox

I'll keep looking into it though.

Grumpy, are you just hearing clicks or does the page actually load more than once?

Re: Company Websites?

Why install another browser when most people on the net use the same one I use?

I am hearing clicks but sometimes when i want to go back in my browser, I have to hit the back button a few times.

Re: Company Websites?

I just think Firefox is a better/faster browser but I know most people use IE. Just my commentary.

I've been asking around trying to figure this out. I'll continue.

Thanks.

Re: Company Websites?

The answer to me is simple. It didn't do that before, so what changed? Answer that question and you know what's causing the clickidty click

Re: Company Websites?

It is not doing it to me with IE-7 on other V-Bulletin sites, like JLC.

Re: Company Websites?

I'm not noticing any issues like you describe. Site seems speed and w/o glitches. No ads either, which I'm glad to not see any.

Sorry to be off topic.

Also nate, why does the site have so many redirects, or clicks when ever a page loads it clicks 3,4 maybe 5 times. Your other forums don't do that. it's no real problem, but it reminds me of popups because they make the same noises. Plus when I want to hit backspace (gback history), I have to press it 2-3 times to get to the previous page.

No sir, not aware of any relatives in Chicago area.
