Glad to see some other Aussies about - even if they're travelling! I'm loving the knowledge sharing going on here. Hoping to learn and contribute. Thanks fellas. |

i noticed flexi point on the bottom of your page. thats great stuff. it looks the business and serves a great purpose and enhances the roof. i like the australian way of roofing, organized and forward thinking. a good system to learn from. |

Re: Another Aussie
Yea man sometimes Aussies really get it!
It's like a guy walked past a roof one day and went 'far out, that stuffs cracked... why don't they make a flexible pointing??' and gone out and made it!! On top of that, there's the motivation from living in dry salty windy hot spots! My mate went to an art exhibition where they compared early Australian pioneers art with American settlers and the contrast was kinda like the Americans proudly standing over their plots of land, one knee up on the conquered boulder, sun shining behind them... with the Aussies ragged, burnt, all-but-beaten by the harsh wilderness they had to battle! ANYWAY - nowa days it's turned out that we're finding ways to beat it. The heat reflective paint we make here is an amazing example - can't change the weather, so design something to beat it.
