reclaiming my youth

went to slane castle last week for the oasis concert. what a venue. i still have it in me, 2 nights camping bugger all sleep. reclaimed my youth. 4 kids can make you feel older than you actually are. we left them with the relatives and went mad.cant wait for next years slane gig. there is a good feel to a place when 80000 people are all there for the same reason. it felt good to let go....but i paid for it. anyone else let go lately???

Re: reclaiming my youth

My Bro in law watched Oasis at Heaton Park in Manchester a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it!
Didnt U2 play Slane castle a few years back? would have liked to be at that one!
While i love music my self i cant be doing with crowds! in my younger days yes but not now.
Any way i have just come back from sunny Benidorm in Spain on my stag do!! im in recovery mode!
Cheers
Dave

People like you and I, though mortal of course like everyone else, do not grow old no matter how long we live...We never cease to stand like curious children before the great mystery into which we were born....Life moves as on..

I have never been to that place you have mentioned in your post. But I love camping to these places. These places are always the fun and love and gives you the historical view of your past. I love the historical places which are always a place of the peace for me.

kids are still the best way to let go. if you have family to run over your problems, you'll never feel the pressure of ageing. what would you do with your money if you're all alone? but anyway, i got your point that unwinding is really fun. just saying.
