Default A good read!

While sunning me self on a beach in Rhodes Greece recently with my girlfriend (were getting married here in September as we met here 10 years ago)
I read a book called 'America Unchained' written by a British comedian call Dave Gorman, he goes to the states buys a Torino estate, then travels coast to coast only using unchained gas stations and unchained motels,
Ive got to admit i dont read alot of books, im a newspaper man myself, but i loved this one, i couldnt put it down,i felt i was traveling with him across America!
Im not sure the wifeto be will come with me on a road trip like that but maybe one day! Maybe il take her across to Ireland in the MG!
Anyway i thought id share that with you.
Cheers
Dave

hey dave
with the weather were getting at the moment it would'nt be a bad idea. i wouldnt have known what a torino was until i watched gran torino last night. nice car.my wife wants me to learn to ride so we can do a road trip of america on the motorbike. that would be nice. i drove from sydney to brisbane in a 64 vw beetle. no radio was mooing like a mad thing at all the cows on the country stretch. when we got near the coast it was the business some gift scenery, needless to say the car died 2 weeks later. such is life.
