Default Fatal truck accident

I heard that a roofer in our area got killed recently.

Apparently the parking brake on a truck was not fully engaged and it rolled down the driveway and smashed him between 2 trucks.

This company uses trucks with a scissor lift bed that they park near the home so that it is easy to pile the old shingles into the bed of the truck. As the story goes it was one of these trucks that rolled down the driveway.

I’m not going to mention the name of the company because I have not been able to verify the information. The company operates in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana and has about 80 million in annual sales.

Yes they are.

I don’t know much about them but when ever I have seen their work all the flashings were re-used and sealed with roofing cement. Then they cover the tar with granules.
