What workshop/yard setups do you have?

I'm in the planning stages of a new workshop and storage yard area along with relocating a house onto my property. I'm keen to see what others have done.
Do you operate from home, or have separate premises?

Re: What workshop/yard setups do you have?

Since no one wants to carry this on, here's a couple pics of my current setup. I badly need to do a cleanup when I get a chance, its hard to find anything when I want it!
Garage is shared between my roofing and diy bits as well as the roman club's kit which takes half the space. And the back yard gets used as well at times to store tiles etc!
I have another property where I have about 20 pallets of tiles stored as well, thats where i plan to buils the new shop. Unfortunately its about an hour and 45mins away.

Re: What workshop/yard setups do you have?

Always kept my equipment, tools, and vehicles on my property.

First home was a hoby farm with 2 2,000sq ft pole buildings and a 75 year old grainery building I used to store extra shingles. When I sold the property I think I had something like 25 squares in it, on a wood floor!

Second home was a tiny two car garage. Of course never parked a vehicle in it but it was crammed with roofing stuff.

Third and current home has a 850sq ft upper and 850sq ft lower garage. Got the green light from the county to put up a 2,000sq ft out building just can't decide between stick frame and pole building. My wife wants one to match to the house.
