Unique Use for Tear-Off Tool

With the increasing trend in "DIY" home renovations - there is an abundance of tips for using everyday tools in different instances.

There was a great example of Mark Clement using the Red Ripper - "roof" tear off tool - for removing flooring and a home owner using Eternabond - "roof" leak repair tape - for building a pond.

Where have you used a hand tear off tool somewhere other than the roof? Where can you see another use for leak repair tape? How else could you use roof brackets?
